3D Secure is a security technology for credit or debit card payments on the Internet. The security procedure is called "Visa Secure (formerly Verified by Visa)" at Visa, "IdentityCheck (SecureCode)" at Mastercard and "SafeKey" at American Express. The 3-D Secure capability of your credit or debit card is a mandatory requirement for use within the hvv switch app.

Check whether your credit or debit card has expired. If necessary, deposit another card or another means of payment and use this for the booking. If necessary, contact our customer service at info@hvv-switch.de.

You can either create a PayPal account by jumping out of the app or save an already existing PayPal account. For example, you can simply let us guide you through the linking process when you make your first booking in the hvv switch app. Once a PayPal account has been created, it can be managed in your account at any time.

Yes, partly. At hvv switch we currently accept driving licences issued in the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland.

As soon as you have your renewed driving licence, you can revalidate it via the hvv switch app. To do this, select 'Your driving licence' in the menu and click on the button 'Validate driving licence' to enter your new driving licence data and then start the online validation.
